CERAMIC/PORCELAIN TILES AND SINKS:
The painting consists of raised relief glaze giving a three-dimensional look that is very unique to my artwork.

These items are kiln fired at almost 1900 degrees fusing the design paint to the existing glaze. All Firing is completed on the premises in my studio. A sample test firing is recommended for work on commercially glazed ceramic and porcelain tiles. Ceramic and porcelain tiles do come in dye lots and it is suggested when purchasing, to purchase your entire square footage. Sinks must be all china as they are also fired to fuse the glazes.

STONE TILES:
Natural stone tiles (i.e. tumbled marble) come in many different colors and textures. The design is penciled in and then hand painted directly onto the tile with three coats of sealer. The sealer protects the painting against any splasing from cooking.

DESIGN:
I will help you achieve that one-of-a-kind focal point that will customize your kitchen or bath.

The designing of the artwork begins with the clients needs and a commissioned piece reflects their taste and personality. A piece of fabric, wall covering, or a paint chip may be needed for colors.

After measurements of the area being tiled are provided a small sketch of the design will be drawn to scale with pricing for approval. This shows placement and how much area the design will cover. After all is approved, the work is painted and fired or sealed and ready for pick-up or to be shipped.
